Check the electrolytic capacitors on the convergence board with an ESR meter for proper ESR. It is possible that there are some defective capacitors, and also other types of components that are part of the convergence system.

The set will most likely require some troubleshooting to determine the failed parts, if it is not a capacitor in the convergence area.

The two convergence IC's need to be changed on the convergence board, and also check the low ohm resisters that might have change resistance on the convergence too. The red and blue should move up and down and left and right. The green is sationally.

Where are the convergence chips located on my 60PP9202 for the red

There are 2 Convergence Chips: 1 for Horizontal (it includes Red, Green and Blue Convergence channels) and 1 for Vertical (it includes Red, Green and Blue Convergence channels). Horizontal Convergence Chip is 7044 and Vertical convergence Chip is 7045 (both STK392-120). They are fixed in same "big" Heat Sink, with a 2 metal black clips, from Video Inputs board side.

Screen hazzy and issue with blue convergence

bad convergence would cause show to look as if it was supposed to be a 3-d movie, if a bulb was going out then people would look purple blue -green,or some other off color, so likely the green bulb is going out from the color of the people you described.

My Philips HDTV 60PP9202 has blue and red curved lines

Check to see if you can adjust the convergence. If you can't adjust the red and blue in all directions you need to replace the convergence chips and resistors. If you not sure how to check the convergence goto the site www.TvRepairKits.com and goto the Tips section.
