It is going to be virtually impossible to find that service manual for your Bendix ironer... They aren't available in electronic format, and never have been, you'd have to find someone with a paper copy just laying around they were willing to give you. You will have better luck just replacing the unit all-together, I know I saw a Bendix automatic ironer a few weeks back for $40 at a pawn type shop... You may have to keep searching ebay or something similar to find one... but to find the manual is virtually impossible.

Sorry about that,
Tim

Breville VIN 214 iron leaking - can anyone help please

Service the steam and spray mechanism:

  1. Unplug the iron.
  2. Use a fine sewing needle to unclog the steam valve assembly. Also, check the valve spring and replace it if it is broken or has lost tension.
  3. If the spray pump is accessible, remove it and check for leaks by placing the spray tube in water and squirting the pump. Clean or replace as needed.
  4. God bless you

I have 2 larger f series ford diesels. Both have the Bendix Convac vacuum pump, both are broken/leaking oil. Neither truck needs vacuum to assist the brakes (1 air brakes, 1 hydromax assist) but both...

When you say airbrakes, do you mean that the vehicle has airbrakes, or does it have hydraulic brakes with a vacuum brake booster? As far as replacing it with a 12v vac pump, there might be some DOT regulations prohibiting this as it involves safety issues. If one has the vac booster, it is leaking brake fluid and not oil. The hydrovac booster will leak either as it uses power steering fluid from the P/S pump to do the job.

I have got DWN 38 L Bendix dishwasher, problem is that during the wash cycle water starts to come under the washer. To ,me it looks like it can't take the water out.

If water is collecting under the dishwasher then there could be a few reasons.
1. door gasket is leaking - check for defect and replace if required
2. the wash or drain pump could be leaking water. Seals are not sitting properly or drain hose is cracked.
