Question about Televison & Video
THIS IS THE SOLUTION: (
If you press HDMI button on remote you get a blank screen (but the DVD still has sound)
Press it again and nothing appears to happen (although apparently the DVD is switching to another mode)
Press the button yet again and WAIT (I counted to 10!) then the DVD reverts back to AV or whatever you call "normal" tv and everything is OK again! (on some models you might have to press the HDMI button a fourth time but the message is to wait a bit for the DVD introductory screen to appear - it does not happen instantly)

How do you 'edit' movies etc to remove adverts etc.The 'segment' button does not activate immediately and is the 'purple' bar a sign of an edit? Please email me on: firstname.lastname@example.org . Cheers, many thanx, Bryan S.

Press the watch tv button, when it comes on press in quick succesion clear,5,5 or clear 6,6 depending on whether you are intergrated or progressive scart...this takes you out of the hdmi mode as waiting does not always work, this method is in the manual..anyone help me with my wharfedale crahing and stopping dead if a blank disc is put in that it doeant like(ie,used on pc or other dvd b4 and deleted),remote stops, dvd stops, even pulling plug out over and over doeant solve it,then sometimes disc just pops back out and system restarts, takes hours of waiting though, anyone know a reset method of button pressing??
