We need the "key dance" for the temperature calibration for the range mentioned above.

    Try this

    1. Press BAKE button for 5 seconds. The default or a previously entered temperature offset will show.

    2. Press the TEMP 'up' arrow to increase the temperature in 10°F or 5°C increments*.

    3. Press the TEMP 'down' arrow to decrease the temperature in 10°F or 5°C increments*.

    4. Press START to save the temp. adjustment.

*A maximum offset adjustment of ±30°F or ±15°C is possible.

(To switch between Fahrenheit to Celsius, try pressing and holding the "broil" button for 5 seconds.)

Maytag range model MGR7662WB2. oven will not come on. when I test the DSI board I should have 120volts across J1-4 and J1-6 in bake mode but I only measure 4 volts. any idea what may be the problem

Was the control set to BAKE mode before you checked for voltage? J1-6 will only be energized if relay K7 on the main control is closed... Does the unit try a spark sequence when you try to bake, is there the "clunk" sound followed by three "tap-tap-tap," sounds of the electrode sparking at the bake tube?

Maytag Oven model MER5755QAQ has lock on the display and the oven will not operate.

If one of the position switches on the latch assembly is not reading, the control will sometimes lock because it "thinks" a clean cycle has been initiated, if replacing the control did not fix the lock icon, test the switch... Incorrect temp probe and thermostat failures can also make a control "think" it is in a clean cycle. Maytag gas oven has an F1 code. Model # CGR3740ADW.

The F1 code on a Maytag electric stove means the electronic range control, clock or touch pad is defective. You or a technician can do a test to determine which item is broken, but you must replace the electronic clock range in models where the touch pad and range control are one part.

Maytag oven reads fi

Defective touch pad or clock (ERC)

This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when F1 error code is present.

Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC (Clock).

Warning: If you feel in any way uncomfortable performing this test or making this repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

The code is SAB for "Sabbath Mode". Read the owners manual for the specific key pad sequence to unlock this mode. If the key pad sequence is unsuccessful, the control module will have to be replaced,

Almond or Bisque Color the same??

Your range is almond. The AA at the end of the model number is the color code for almond. Paint on a range may be affected by high heat be sure to use one that is tolerant of high heat. Almond is more yellow and bisque is more white, not the same color.
