Are you getting a error code? Are you getting a blank copy ? If you are getting a blank copy it may be that you have a blown scanning lamp. Also, when was the last time the corona wires were replaced? They may need to be replaced?

Canon 6035 keeps telling me to add toner when it is already full...error goes away after i open and close the hopper door..this seems to happen after every 5 or so copies(sorting and stapeling)

How do you know it's full? Did you record the copy count when you put the toner in? The only time the copier will indicate that it needs toner is when the developer unit is empty or if the toner sensor is not in contact with toner, you should hear a very high pitch squeal sound coming from the copier. If you are sure you have toner inside the developer unit then the toner sensor is bad. Does shaking the developer unit back and forth a few times help? Maybe the toner has developed a cave inside where the toner is supposewd to be touching the toner sensor.

How do i change the waste toner container on a canon imagerunner 3320i?

Hello tandi,
I can help you. First, lets establish a point of reference which will be you satnding at the copier as if you were about to make a copy. The waste toner bottle is located on the left side, lower rear corner. If you have a stapler/sorter you will need to release it from the copier and slide it away from the copier. Notice the small cover that is @ the lower left corner of the copier. Remove the single screw that holds the cover and then remove the cover. The waste toner bottle is now exposed. It even has a hande so that you may slide the bottel STRAIGHT OUT not up or down. Carefully empty the bottle into a trash bag while keeping in mind that holding it low and pouring it slow will avoid a Hiroshima style mess. Once the bottle is empty, look at the "neck" of the bottle. There are "clear windows" at the top of the neck of the bottle. But right now they are not "clear" since they are covered in toner. That's how the copier determines if the bottle is full or not. It shines a beam through the lenses and as long as the beam is not broken the copier is happy. When enough toner rises in the bottle to break the beam the copier "assumes" the bottle is full. So now that you have emptied the bottle you need to use a Q-tip or such to clean your windows ! :-).Re install everything. Turn the "TRUE" main power switch off, or unplug, and then power back up. Happy copying. Please let "fixya" know if I helped. SPINAL

Will not reset for next copy

Sounds as if it is low on toner. When they run low, the motor will continue to run trying to add more toner. The toner add system is a glorified flour sifter.Eventually it will set the add toner on.Good Luck

Canon Copier Model C122F - error light flashing

A common mistake is that people think that the waste toner needs to be emptied and instead the toner needs to be replaced --- and vice versa. Check to make sure that the toner bottle is not empty. Also, if you made copies that took ( used ) more toner then the machine was able to replenish, the machine has not had a chance to catch up. Place a white sheet of paper on the platen glass and make blank white copies. You may only be able to get 1-2 copies at first but as the device catches up with the toner replenish you should be able to make more. The blank copies you make -- do NOT put that paper right back into the machine. Lay it flat and let it cool, this will help prevent unwanted jamming due to heat build up in the paper. IF you have good amount of new toner in the machine, gently tap the front line ( or rear line) that feeds the used toner into the waste bottle. Sometimes the waste toner will clog and back up into the machine giving false 'waste toner full' message.

Canon PC940 Ticking noise when copying and regestration is off

The waste toner is in the drum unit it's self. If it full you may as well replace the drum unit all togather. Once it is full the drum is just about shoot. If the regestration is off, you may have a problem withe reg. feed clutch. Dose it show up with the paper tray and the manual feed try?

Where is the waste toner cartridge for a imageRunner 6570

Hello eyoung042,
Let's use standing at the front of the copier as if you were making a copy as a reference. The waste toner bottle at the right rear bottom corner. I'm just guessing the dimensions on the panel that covers it, but I'm thinking 5" x 18"......and is held in place by 2 srcews. Remove that cover and you will see the rather ample waste toner bottle. This machine and its brethren in the newer mid volume machines use an arbitrary value of 250K copies as a signal to show the waste toner almost full message in the display. This is the only criterai used is the meter. I have yet to see a machine where the waste toner bottle was past half full at 250k. But since the copier is using the meter to determine when the bottle needs to emptied, it also means that if you dont reset the counter for the waste toner bottle you will get an E-19 (waste toner bottle full error) even if it is not even close to being full. If you are familliar with sevice mode you can reset the counter, and MUST do so whether you empty the bottle or not in order to make the machine happy again. Press additional functions, then the 2 and 8 together, then additional functions. Press the"copier" block. Then the top right tab on the screen that says "counter" press it. Then press "misc", then press "WASTE TNR". You will notice a counter to the right of this item which reflects the last time the waste toner bottle had been "attended" to.Once you have selected "WASTE-TNR" and it is highlit press the number 0 on the 9 keypad. Then press the "ok" tab at the lower right corner of the display. You should see the counter reset , and now everone can smile. Press reset till you return to the main screen and make another 250,000 copies. Have a good day! ............SPINAL.............
