I am currently using the standard ( Acute-Matte D ) focusing screen with my
503CW camera. The image is generally very bright and easy to focus using the
80mm f2.8 lens. However, as a spectacles wearer I occasionally have
problems focusing quickly and accurately, especially in poor light or with
low contrast subjects. I can't blame the camera for out of focus shots any
more now that I'm using Hasselblad!
Would changing to a Microprism/Spit-Image (Acute-Matte D) focusing screen
solve my problems?
Is their any difference in brightness between these two screens.
Thanks for any help.

P.S. I get a much better view through my old Mamiya C330s focusing hood
magnifier ( with a Beattie Intersreen ) than I do on my new Blad!

Try getting the "chimney" focusing hood.... that did more for me than a
screen change..
Use WITHOUT glasses, there is a built in diopter adjustment.
