Question about Hitachi 32UX01S TV

Open Question

My Hitachi TV model 32UX01S turns completely off radomly. It does not turn back on without pulling the cord out of the wall and replugging it back in. It then appears to reset itself for at loeast a short time. Until the plug is pulled from the wall, on/off switch will not work at all. At times it seems the TV's ability to stay on is effected by volume of programs playing or even vibrations of someone jumping in front of the TV. Would like to know if there is an easy solution other than replacing TV.

SOURCE: Hitachi 32LD8700 - TV won't turn on although has power

The general problem with LCD type TV's is that the power supply fails. They are very sophisticated designs that are difficult to troubleshoot and generally best to just replace the module, but sometimes there is visible damage in some of the electrolytic capacitors (visibly bulged) and high voltage rated parts can be substituted.
Hope Ya Fix It

Unable to capture good image in PAL/SECAM region on Hitachi tv model No. 32UX01S

Some versions of this set will have only NTSC color system. They are meant to use with countries like US and others. Check whether your TV is multisystem compactable. That is, whether it can recive PAL/SECM/N.NTSC. You can get this details by its user manual. If you have its manual, refer it. If not, download it from here.

Hitachi 50v715 model

Step1 Turn off the TV, and unplug it. Make sure to disconnect it from the outlet completely. Step2 Locate the bulb door of the TV. This is often on the back, near the power cord. Slide the door open and reveal the bulb. Step3 Unscrew the screws. Some screws are thumbscrews, while others may require a screwdriver. Step4 Gently remove the bulb. Pull the bulb out of the compartment, usually by grasping a handle and then pulling out and slightly down. Step5 Install the new bulb. Line up the groove on top of the new bulb's housing with the groove pocket on the inside of the television. Slide the new one into place. Step6 Tighten the screws. Do not overtighten them; they should be finger-tight only. Step7 Close the door. Make sure it is closed completely or the TV will not operate.

it depends on if your a handyman

Tv went off by itself

When you turn the tv on all the voltages come up for a second but the power supply is sensin a problem and it kills the high volatge and other voltages. One of the voltages the supply sends has a short. The tv needs to be service because components need to be checked and then replaced. Be safe and Seek the help of a technician to diagnose the problem.
