Question about Sony Grand WEGA KDF-50WE655 50" Rear Projection HDTV
THE SET WARMS UP, PICTURE COMES ON FOR A FEW SECONDS THE GOES INTO STANDBY FOR FORTY SECONDS. THEN THE CYCLE STARTS OVER.
Sounds like the thermal sensor is defective. They are usually located on our near the lamp assembly housing.

I had to have my ballast replaced as well as the lamp again.

Hey ron did this work? replacing the thermal sensor? mine is doing the same thing.
