Question about Mercury PVCLE266 Motherboard

Lost mother board drivers

Hello
I searched for model number on my mother board and got a number I8101. I am unaware if thats my board number.
I had previously asked you regarding my mother board drivers.
Am pasting that mail below for reference:

I have lost my mother board drivers . When i go into the BIOS upgrade utility i get the following info
MODEL:P4TGS
CHIPSET:i845GL-8712F
BIOS DATE:11/15/2002

Hi greathary, I checked for the model number you listed P4TGS.
The search findings show this to be a Biostar board. There is no such model number (P4TGS) for Mercury PVCLE266.
This is the link for Biostar P4TGS. Look to the right of the page, under Support for drivers. You should save this link in you're favorites.
http://www.biostar-usa.com/mbdetails.asp?model=P4TGS
Any time you need to find a model number for a motherboard, it's best to look on the board itself.

If I can be of more service, just ask.
Best of Luck!

Mike

I dont think so that my motherboard is of biostar.
The major issue is if i reinstall my OS and try to install biostar drivers and if they dont go well i will be handed with an OS with no drivers.
I have an os installed with drivers on it and then i have lost my cd.

When you first load the PC get ready to press the Pause key. As soon as you get display press the pause key. You should be able to see the Name & model number of your board. Write that down & post that information here. Or is the name "Mercury" & the model " PVCLE266"? This is listed on you're post above the statement " Lost mother board drivers"? If you are able to get into you're bios's main menu. Some bios's list the model number under system information.

I dont know my motherboard no and i lost my sound drivers

Find the number by going to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information

The board number should be in the summary somewhere.

Then look for that model on Google search to find drivers.

Lost driver cd

Simple, look for some kind of reference to model name physically printed on main board, ie "GA-XX1239". Go to gigabyte's site, search via board model number, download audio, video, chipset drivers etc for relevant OS. Normally there's a pic of board so you have a visual comparison.
