If he does not have the original factory discs, you can go to the HP support site, go to the drivers/software page, input your model number in the search box, choose the operating system you are using. In the available drivers to pick from and software, there should be a choice to have a set of discs mailed to you for a nominal fee such as 20-25 bucks.
