Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Broken Screen I've had this MP3 Player for a while now and it's been broken for a long time. The screen is cracked straight through the middle and on the sides and you can only view 1/7 of the screen's capabilities. My question is that, is there a way to fix the screen or how much does it cost to purchase a new one and where.

Call Sansa to get THEIR price. View eBay to find a reasonable price. It is definitely NOT cost-effective to repair it.

The screen is not replaceable - you must replace the entire player or get a cheap/broken version from Ebay and glue the screen back - not attractive or functional

Broken screen

When it comes to issues such as cracked screens, the question comes down to two things:

1. Is the screen cracked in such a way so as to cause big issues, or so the screen cannot function at all.

2. Is my product still under warranty.

Most companies nowadays tend to ship you a new product, if yours is still under any kind of warranty. If your MP3 player isn't, It may be better to get a new one.

Hope this helps.

My best,
Rob
