To reset your device you have 2 ways
1st you haveto pulse with a pen head into the narrow hole that is on the inside of the back of your pda.
2nd you should re install the blackberry system for your pda!
it would work! good luck!

My RIM Blackberry 7290 comes up with "Device Error: 365 Reset". Whatever key I push, it still comes up with the same message. This problem started after taking the battery out to insert a sim card. Tks

you probably either messed up your battery, scratched your sim card, or got something wet. i would ask a phone technician cause you might need some help.

My blackberry pearl 8100 need a sim subsidy unlock in order for me to used with my carrier how can i get it

1) Contact your service provider to obtain instructions and the SIM unlock code for your device.
2) Download one of the following files:-
a) sim ulock tool serial blackberry.zip
b) sim unlock tool usb blackberry.zip
3) Extract the file and save it to your personal computer.
4) Connect the device to the personal computer.
5) Double-click the downloaded file. If prompted, enter your device password.
The unlock tool runs, and the device resets when complete.
6) Proceed with the SIM unlock instructions from your service provider.

NOTE:-This happen's when you're trying to change the service provider.
If you intend to change your service provider, contact your current provider and inquire whether your BlackBerry device's SIM card is locked. If your BlackBerry device has a locked SIM card, you will need an unlock code. Some carriers charge a fee for this. Once the BlackBerry device is unlocked, it will accept a new SIM card and a new service provider.

My blackberry shows texts from oldest to newest

Hello,

When you look at messages, exit and come back, the screen will be exactly where you left. The device doesn't reset to the top. Just use the T for top and B for bottom buttons.

There is no real setting for the blackberry to show old messages first. I am assuming that when you are showing your messages, you may be at the bottom of the list. Try using the above to be at the top of the messages list.

1. Remove the battery for at least 5 minute.

Use application loader to wipe handheld clean and reinstall base software but do backup your data

In need of desperate help ...blackberry 8703e is acting up

This is a Fatal error on your blackberry. Usually that means that the device is fried, but sometimes you can bring it back by connecting it to the desktop manager. So keep trying until you get it to come back on but i it doesn't come back on you will need to get it replaced. Sorry.
