I was told it was a bubble in the line and you would have to turn it off and let it reset 9 or 10 times for the system to work the bubble out.

Hello sir, i have a problem with my copier minolta di 450. The problem code is c-0990. Plz help me!

Main Draw (large Capacity) has a problem open and close front door if the code comes back then you probability have a broken gear in the 3 draw lift system. Usually the gear gets rounded out in the center. gear is black and located behind several gears behind the front cover of the draw

Sounds like something is wrong. I assume that is from a OBD readout. If it is a new aoidfj then it is a communications failure.

How to fixe error(0990) in Richo gx3050sfn

Error 990 is an error that has to do with the ink carridge system. This is a Ricoh defect. If your printer is still under warranty you can call Ricoh and inform them of the error and they should replace it. To try and fix is 50/50. We usually just recommend getting a replacement.

System Error 0990

Not sure on that part number, it doesn't mean anything to me either, and isn't in any Ricoh documentation that I can find.

However you can get the ink cartridges from:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000N6DG52?ie=UTF8&tag=dependascient-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000N6DG52

I am not sure of any particular KIT you would need, it sounds like just a replacement of the cartridges should do it.

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Tim

I have same problem - if I find a solution I will post it

this is a problem caused by the gel that is not supplied anymore in the printer. certainly the waste ink collector behing the machine is full. by replacing it i solved the problem sometimes, sometimes it is more serious ans the sparepart of the supply must be replaced by crafted man.
hope it can help !

This page says, that this code is displayed on "Main tray up problem".

I suppose they didn't change the codes that much, so its possible that you can work with this one...
