It happens because you have selected( accidentally or otherwise) the resolution that the monitor cannot handle easily. So each time turn on the computer the screen tries to adjust itself to work with the resolution that you have selected. Select a screen resolution that the monitor can handle and work with.

Hi sir my dell monitor always keeps "Auto adjust in progress" popping out..how can i rid of this problem because it bothering me. thanks alot

sounds like its trying to adjust to the correct depth and colour if there is a problem with your graphics card it will not relay the correct configuration and visa versa with your monitor. if possible use a different monitor and try it if it works perfectly then the chances are the monitor is faulty if its the same problem then there is a problem with your graphics card.

I start up the Dell computer and when I get to the log in screen, the monitor states "auto adjustment in progress" and then shuts down. Where should I go to fix this?

boot the computer into safe mode by pressing F8 as the computer boots up. then in safe mode adjust the resolution and/or refresh rate. then reboot and tweak to your liking.

Wondering if you resolved it and how I was having the same issue have taken my screen apart and it is not the button pressing seems to be a deeper routed issue. I have tried driver re-install, change of start up and various other items none are resolving it. I think it maybe a issue directly related to the manufactoring of the E181H Monitor.

My computer volume was suddenly stop working while i was watching movie, i checked all volume set ups but didn't work so please solve that problem

1. Was this a movie that came from a video store or was this movie on the hard drive?
2. How old is your PC and or your DVD optical drive?
3. This could be due to a bad burn ( the movie that is)
Some movies that are burned sometimes are interrupted and therefore will create a "halt" state on some DVD players and some PC DVD burners.
4. Also dirty DVD's will halt a movie in progress the laser is try to read the data through multiple finger prints or grease
5. Washing the DVD with dish washing liquid ( a drop or 2) and the rinsing and drying thoroughly usually renders the DVD playable again. Do not use hot water on the DVD disk it will warp the disk.

I want to watch a movie on my pc but it goes into sleep mode 20 minutes into the movie. How can i change the settings. It displays (auto input interjection) how can i change it?

Turn off your screensaver from your desktop settings, and modify your power control settings from within control panel. Alternately, you can make a conscious effort to move the mouse every 19-1/2 minutes. I think I would change the settings.

If you find my suggestions to be helpful, please share with us some details so that others may benefit from knowing the whole story. Thank you!
