Question about Proform CrossTrainer Treadmill

1 Answer

When I turn on my treadmill and hit the engage button to start, it beeps four times...it doesn't have the one beep where it just starts up. I went through all the tests and can't get it to work. The unit worked when I had it in the garage but when I moved it into the basement it stopped working. Didn't bump, drop, etc. Everything else on the board works as is should. The starter is not activating. Any help or input is appreciated.

Part of treadmill buttons won't work?

Remove the control panel and try to clan the board using isopropyl alcohol using a brush. Leave the board for one day so that it would get dry. Then install the control board back and check and check it. Sometime moisture acclimated on the control panel can cause such problems . If you didn't get isopropyl alcohol then put the control board in sunlight for one or two days. Then install the control panel and check whether it works or not. also try to replace all the switches on control panel board. you will get it in any electronic spare parts shop.Beside not to put it on direct sunlight it can cause problems to the display

Tx 2.5 is on 7

To reconfigure the controller to factory setting:
1) Hold both the "Mode" and "Stop" buttons down while removing the magnetic key.
2) While continuing to hold both buttons down, replace the magnetic key. All the lights will light up and "beep".
3) Whille continuing to hold both buttons down, press the + button.
It should now be reconfigured.
I hope this helps

My reebok treadmill makes only three beeps when you hit the sensor buttons

Plug in power cord, remove key, hold down speed+ and stop buttons, replace key, release buttons, press stop once, press and hold speed + until max. treadmill will run to top speed (s9.80 should read out 11.8 to 12.5.) It took a couple of times to get this to work for mine, but now it is OK. If unit does not run after several attempts then the console is probably bad and will need to be replaced ($410). Get another treadmill ! If it does run the console may still beep - problem is with IFIT card. You can get rid of the beeps by opening the console and unplugging the IFIT cable from the computer card if you want.

I have a Nordtrack viewpoint 3000, the tv will come on and when I touch the start botton it just beeps.

I had the same problem with my Nordic track. I pressed every button until I found the one that did not beep. The one that does not beep is stuck. My problem was with the Ifit button. The first few times I would push the bad button until it started beeping. That worked for awhile (couple of weeks but started up again). I disconnected the Ifit unit and now the thing work fine except for Ifit which I never used. Nordic track wanted to sell me a new console which cost more than the machine.

NordicTrack Z7xi treadmill console buttons not working

Hello there. It sounds as if you may have a button stuck on your console. Thus not allowing any other buttons to be pushed. (i.e. the 4 beeps). This is usually caused by the i-fit buttons (silver buttons on the front). If the machine is only 4 months old you should still be under warranty (1 year) I believe. This problem in most instances requires the console be replaced. You can contact nordictrack through iconservice.com or by using the number on the fron of your users manual.
Good Luck! Tim
