Make sure your soundcard drivers are installed. They may just be disabled but usually they are missing. If you got a virus/spyware, etc. then chances are the drivers got corrupted. Go to the laptop manufacturer website i.e. www.hp.com, www.toshiba.com, etc. then go to their support page and download the drivers. good luck!

I have no volume on the TV. Good picture. Is there something i can try.

Check whether the audio is muted by accidental press at remote control button. Enter its sound menu, and check it. If muted, as you know there will be no audio output. If not muted, check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.

Check if volume is muted in Windows. Check the bottom right hand corner and double-click on the speaker symbol. If not muted, turn the volume up from there.

No sound output device is installed

Check your Volume and make sure you do not have it on mute. If you installed the drivers then the volume must be muted. Right Click on the megaphone at the bottom right near the time and open the volume controls. Make sure there is nothing muted.

You can also get to the sound and audio volume controls by clicking Start/Control Panel and look for Audio or Sound.

I have an ABS laptop. I have gone into control

First make sure nothing is muted.
Start>Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices

If nothing is muted, and your volumes are up and still no sound, try updating your audio drivers,

Start>Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Sound Video and Game Controllers

Right click your audio drive and select Update driver.

No sound from built in speakers

Have you checked on your hardware list to make sure the device is functioning properly? It may have something to do with the driver as well.

Ive deleted sound on my computer. wat do i need to do? no sound found

Hi peewee,
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by deleted sound.  I'll run some questions by you to clarify.
Have you: -checked to see that all of your speaker cables are plugged in correctly and that your speakers are functioning properly -have you checked to see that everything is turned on and has power running to it -are you running XP/Vista/Linux/OSx? -have you recently installed any audio codecs or soundcard drivers? -if you go to your startbar, and look at the speaker icon in the bottom right corner, right click and select open volume controls, check to see if anything is muted or has the volume down

Hope that helps.

No sound_RCA_model L23W10_Only Ear Phone Jack Provides Sound

Hello... I found the following in the user manual for this TV. Also, some RCA models have a speaker switch on the back of the TV. If none of this solves the problem, your TV may need service. I hope this helps...

Sound problems, picture okay
• Maybe the sound is muted. Try pressing the volume up button to restore sound.
• If using S-Video or Y Pb Pr, remember to also connect the component's left and right audio output jacks to the TV's AUDIO jacks.
• Make sure the Volume option in the Sound menu is turned up.
• Make sure headphones aren't connected to the headphones jack.
