Question about Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher
Upon trying to run my dishwasher last night I noticed that the dishwasher had no power (none of the panel buttons light up), there was water sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher too. Also, my garbage disposal had stopped working. I reset my garbage disposal and it is now working fine. I made sure the switch in the electrical box for the dishwasher was ok - I reset it just to be sure....still no power to the dishwasher. Is there a reset button for the dishwasher somewhere that I can try. Is is a Whirlpool Quiet Partner III. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Change the thermal fuse in the control and door switches. The thermal fuse is designed to fail if there is a problem with the switches.

Did you check the fuse in the plug (or fused spur) for the dishwasher?

The drain hose under the sink needs to be tied up,above the point where it enters the drain pipe or disposal, water is feeding back into the unit, run the disposal more often also this helps prevent this from happening.
