Verify the settings for your monitor are correct. with a video card that supports an HDMI output you should be able to go into your display properties (maybe advanced properties) and either force the TV detection or force the HDMI output to be enabled so it's displaying on your PC and your TV simultaniously. I know with N Vidia GeForce video cards you can do this and with most major brands it should work similarly.

I have two tv in different room but cable line is one with set top box .Now I want to connect the both tv.

You should try to find active splitter 1 IN 2-3 OUT connections. If cable is not too long it should work. So connect line into IN port nad two TV cables into OUT ports. This is the easiest and cheapest solution. Maybe you will need to mount proper connectors on the cables. Good luck!

What is the difference between a VDA Conector and HDMI connector? My computer came with both but to use the HDMI I will need an adapter

I think you’re meaning VGA not vda. VGA is a standard monitor connection that has been around forever, it has been on PC's since they were first around. pretty much all monitor will have one or more. Some TV's will have one and many projectors. HDMI is a much newer connection designed for TV's and High definition picture; they are common on satellite and cable TV boxes, DVD and Blu-Ray players, and many game consoles.

How to use cross cable and straight cables in network

ok, i think what you mean is this.  Crossover cable is for connecting 2 computers together without the need for a router.  also called pc-to-pc.  Straight cables need the use of a router or hub to connect 2 computers together.  Hope this helps, if not let me know more info.

CANNOT FIND CABLE CONNECTION FOR AKAI TV LCT42V6TN

They don't make a coaxial to RGB or Component adapter. I know they make a coaxial to RCA. If you go that route you would just connect the coaxial to the video. Now if you do this not sure as to what would happen with sound, if you would have it or not. It is possible but not sure. The adapter I am talking about is called a
UHF Female to RCA Male Coaxial Adapter. Which can be found at most Radio Shacks. If this doesn't work I would contact the cable company about a cable box that they could then run the coaxial to and then the RGB or Component cables to the TV.

Hope this helps.

I am going to suggest with that message, the the TV does not understand the signals it is getting from the PC.

Reboot the laptop while connected to the TV, and turn the TV off, then On, while the PC is connected. If you continue to get the message, look in the manual for the TV to determine the reason for the message.

Com port missing?

check to see if the computer even has a serial port, most today dont have them and use USB instead. if this is the case, contact the receiver company to see if the have a usb version of the connection cable and software and download it and the manual for it. check to see if it needs a special cable as well while on the site. it might not need a special cable but it disent hurt to make sure.
