You might want to download the software and drivers that you need for a system re-install on a trusted PC and burn to a CD. Motherboard software is frequently updated anyhow, so you'll be doing yourself a favor by doing your homework now.

I have lost my Motherboard Drivers CD

Hi,
Simply go to the motherboard manufacturer's web site. They usually will have them for downloading. If your LAN does not work to get you there, ask a friend to download them for you and put them on a CD or USB Flash Drive. Hank

How to protect my system without any virus threats.....?

  • If your are not using the internet very often, Then the only source of infection is through use of infected files from CD/DVD/FLOPPY/Pen Drives. So its always a best practice to scan the media before using the files on them.
  • Also whenever you do connect to the internet, you need to update the antivirus.
  • If you have no option to connect to the internet, most anti virus providers offer patches. Which can be downloaded from a cybercafe and then updated in your system.
