Question about Nokia 6233 Cellular Phone
Most handsets selling in India includes Tamil language. If you bought it in India, then it should be pre-installed with the firmware/flash files. You can check the language settings options. Open "Menu", "Settings" go to "phone settings", and then "language", and tap downward with the down button, you'll see tamil written in tamil itself (if it's pre-installed), highlight it and press "select" or "Ok", now your phone language's been changed to tamil.
The best option is to set the language to "Auto", means it you'll be able to read any languages installed on the phone when you receive messages with the respective languages.
If it's not installed, you can get it done from a Nokia Service center, they will update the language file of your phone.
Thanks for using FixYa.
