While the set is on does the picture and sound come on well, If so the fault is relative to the output stages, look for components heating up, dry soldering due to this heat cutting off the connection.
However if there is no picture or sound then the fault is in the processor , a test on voltages on diffferent cicuits must be checked when the set shuts down. This will indicate the defficient voltage , possible in the power or output board.

Gas or Ele.? If its gas get a dollar bill an clean the flame sensor, and or it may need to be replaced. If the unit dosent sense the flame within 30 sec. or so it will shut down the gas valve. That would be my first check

You can check that in the menu.
To change it, you have to be fast.

Will not power up. Stays in standby mode.


these particular tvs are very sensitive to voltage changes spikes etc.first turn off main power switch wait at least 30 sec if standby come on wait another 30 then turn off main power again and unplug tv for 1 min then plug in turn on main switch wait 30 sec then turn on tv with remote resets system.then buy a ups and always wait at least 30 min after turning tv off to turn back on if not causes power failure and after each press of power button wait 30 seconds before trying again lmk good luck

Why won't my roper gas range (FGS337KQ) stay lit? The oven will light for 30 seconds and then shut off. Ignition is working.


you may have air in you gas lines make sure to hold pilot setting down for about 30 sec then light

Laptop won't start-up


Can you tell me if the status lights on the power adapter and/or the battery turns on? Because you are telling me the status lights only stay on for 30 seconds, this should be a power connection problem.

One other possibility: can you tell me the climate environment of where you use your laptop?
