Question about Linksys WUSB54GC 802.11g/b Wireless Adapter
After months of successful use with my WUSB54GC model wireless adapter, I can not get the connection to be made with my Linksys wireless router. I receive the error " you are connected to the access point, but the Internet cannot be found". The OS on both machines has not changed, I continue to use WEP security with the same identical passphrase. Other wireless devices in the house have no problem making the connection, just this one PC. I have looked at the router settings, and deleted and re-established the profile on the WUSB54GC unit but still no connection. Any ideas?
Instead of using the passphrase use the wep key 1 that you created on the router page when you generate it using the passphrase.
Then when you try to connect using the linksys wireless monitor just leave the passphrase blank and type in the wep key1 box the key that I mentioned earlier.
