Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

I cant seem to find setting for time/date stamp?? or did i just missed it??? need the date to be printed on my pic.btw im using DSC T10. wish u could help. thx.

Hello! Welcome to FixYa!
According to the review features of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T10 Digital Camera, this camera doesn't have a feature for superimposing date/time on images, however you can print images with the date superimposed, So by default u cannot put the time or date stamp on your images, but after taken the images you can manually put the stamp and can print the images.
Don't hesitate to let me know if you want any further assistance.
I hope this solution helps you
Thank you and Keep using FixYa!

An external reader is the best solution. It will transfer the images way faster than using a cable connected to the camera. See if there is a setup option in your camera that chooses the SD card only for storing photos. If there is, then select it.

is it a mobile or digital camera. if it's 2007 model it won't need drivers to get the photos off when u connect to PC, it will directly recognise the Camera HDD ( click my computer > you find extra drive ) from here u can browse and directly copy images and edit in third party software like Gmail-PICASO..

Hoe it helps...keep the hope..:)

Need to delete photos from C-765 Camedia

At this point I would probably format the memory card in the camera. This will permanently erase all images that have been written to the card. To do this: Press ok - right arrow to Mode Menu - down arrow to Card tab - right arrow to Card Setup and then right arrow to Format - Choose Yes and then press Ok. All images are removed and going forward it should only download current images.

I would try to replace the usb cable, but it sounds more like a software problem not the camera. If the camera shuts off during transmission it will keep the pictures from transporting.

Problems downloading photos from camera

Has this been happening all the time since you got the camera?

My guess is that If the camera starts up again after powering off, it probably isn't the battery.

Can you try downloading only half of the images at a time? I'm thinking it may go into sleep mode after awhile if you're downloading a lot of photos. What format are you using, jpg? RAW? raw are really big files. What's your megapizel size?

Questions are bit confusing. You lose the cards as in they fall out of the camera? Or, the cards don't work, guess thats the one, since you mention you can download images from them. Hmmm. You might try re-formatting cards, either in camera or via computer. DO NOT HAVE images on the cards you want to keep when you re-format. As for programs to enhance your images. Mac comes with Iphoto, think you can use that program. And you can "google" tons of info & tutorials on using the program. Otherwise, get a program like Adobe Elements. You can download a free 30 day trial version from adobe.com & view the download section to find program. Not sure if it works on Mac but Irfanview is a free program & you can tune up your images using that program. Shoot shallow so you have plenty of daylight, you quickly lose the colors as you dive deeper. Red's the first to go, then Green...and so on.
