Turntable plays record then stops after a few minutes, overheating?

These Chinese made plastic products are not the real thing. It can be fixed but will not operate long term like a real stereo system. For a reliable product you need to be using Technics type turntables and Samsui or Pioneer receivers to get a real system working. They are big and heavy and that is why a lot of them are still working after 40 years.
I know because I have some of those products here- they can be repaired to last as well. I do the repairs.

I own a 2003 chevy suburban with the factory am/fm cassette/cd player. has rds with the bose system. i have a problem with the cd player. it takes a number of trys for the cd to insert, it'll play the cd,...

This problem is caused by the cd tray either malfunctioning determined by the burnt rubber smell. More than likely, the tray that hold the cd or arms or whatever you want to call em, are off track or caught on something and the motor tries to move them and just spins the rubber belt which causes the burnt rubber smell. You will need to take the vehicle to a Chevy dealer to have them fix it or replace it cuz it probably is unrepairable. Or you could take it to any place that fixes cars and/or car stereos. But look on the bright side, this gives you an excuse to buy a new stereo that has a screen and everything. You could be "pimpin" lol. Good luck. I don't know how many times i've had this same problem with stereos. They always wear out.

CD's won't play on Home & Car stereo after Burning in Mp3 or WAv

most older car and home stereos will NOT play mp3's or wav files reguardless what kind of CD they are written on.
You need a newer stereo OR convert the mp3s to cd audio and then burn them to any recordable cd.. (audio cds can be read by any cd player but will take more space)

CD's won't play on Home & Car stereo after Burning

I may add alot of times older equipment has a hard time reading burned cd's because when ever burning cd's the pits that are burnt into the cd are shallow. The faster the cd burns the more shallow it is... one thing you can try to do is burn at 2x in the WAV format cause it most diffenately will not read mp3 format being that old equipment. You may get lucky burning at 2x because the pits that it burns in the cdrom will be deeper. As the clarification said do use CD-R's. If this doesn't work at 2x chances are that equipment is just not going to be able to read a burnt cd period. Good Luck!!! I hope this works for you!!!

CD's play in Media Player but not Home/Car CD player ?

If you are using windows Media Player to burn the cd you have to burn to an audio cd. You can only burn to mp3 cd if your car or home system canread them. Wma audio cannot normally be read by car or home audio. The file format is called WAV
