I had the same problem with my L7680. In my case the defect was a broken spring in the system of cleaning the print head. I put a new spring and returned to normal.

There is a small piece of paper still stuck in the printer that you can't see. Untill you remove it, you will continue to see this message.

could it be that the sensor was damaged because they were feeding both sizes of paper at the sa,e time.

It says my printer has a paper jam but i dont see no paper jamed and i refill it and it says say thing like it would let it go like its going to print then says jamed paper

Try and see if you can locate a small piece of paper that might be causing your printer to jam. Turn the rollers and see if you can see any small pieces of paper stuck in between the rollers.

Printer say's paper jam, but no paper is in it

The paper is not jammed in the tray, it is jammed inside of the printer itself. Open the printer until you can see where the roller is (that is where the paper gets feed through the printer) and that is probably where you will find the jam. Gently tug on the paper, wiggling it back and forth until it is removed, then refill the paper tray, and test. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Three yellow flashes then one green. Printer will not print. Says "check to see if plugged into computer and on." Sometimes says "paper jam" (no jam viseable.

Three flashes says that there is still paper or paper scrap inside. Might be a small scrap, hard to see, or sensor arm damaged when earlier jam removed.

Printer says paper jam but there is none

Look Inside of each cover on the printer & see if there is a small piece of paper inside. Also, check if there is loose dust from the paper built up by the sensor switches. If none of these work, try flipping the sensor switches manually. Sometimes these get stuck in a particular bad paper jam.

Canon MX300 Paper Jam

I have the same problem - every time I turn on my printer now, the alarm signal shows up with "Paper jam" but when I check for jammed paper, there is none. So I think there's something faulty with the printer. Is there any way to reset it? I've looked everywhere but can't find it.

Epson Aculaser C900 - Paper Jam Notice, but no Jam?

Step1
Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or all of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the front panel display for the area where the jam occurred. If your printer shows an error code, be sure and check the printer manual to see if that identifies the area of the printer where the jam occurred.
Step
2
Turn off the printer.
Step
3
Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
Step
4
Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
Step
5
If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it in a bag or away from light to avoid damaging it.
Step
6
If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly (see A). The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
Step
7
If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper (see B). Don't force anything, though.
Step
8
Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
Step
9
If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
