Make sure that the evaporator is not clogged witin as the auto defrost timer is not working well. If you open the back panel of the freezer tofind frostingg, then the perrformance of the freezer will be poor. So make sure that the timer is working , locate this at the rear bottom and check for the movement. This can be one reason for poor temperature setting to maintain.
Secondly you must check the gaskets for wearing, if so the temperature can be low.
Also the radiating fan also must blow to cool, check if there is damage on the fan.
finally the thermostat can be faulty and is not correcting, can be due to faulty links, wires that gets effected with frost( wires wearring out) Check also comrpessor relay, capacitor and voltage on mains.
The solution can be one of these.

Is this a model=>FGHC2342LF Sounds like the freezer=> 240597203 Thermistor may be defective??There should be one in the freezer that regulates the temp and this one may be causing the compressor to run continious and you may not be getting the correct reading from freezer. Have you seen this?

What is freezer and refrigerator temperature suppose to be set on

If you want to set the temperature your Fridge/Freezer should maintain, you need to set the Freezer to between -19c and -23c, however if you will be keeping Ice-cream in this freezer then it's best to set the base temp @ -21c minimum, -23 preferable, or the ice cream may begin to break down (very slowly I might add). The Fridge needs to be set to a maximum Highest temp) of 5c, any higher and the food will not stay as fresh and bugs will be able to breed, preferable temp is approximately 3-4c.

ED25PQDW01 side by side refrig -freezer is inconsistent. Need to have full cold to maintain freezer temp. cleaned coils, but still an issue.

Do you see a light coat of frost in freezer section about 12 inches up (defrost problem indication) ? Has the icemaker slowed down a bit in ice production ? What is the refrigerator control set on ? When you turn the freezer up completely , it cuts off the cold air flow which cools the refrig section . If refrig control is set mid way , turn it up higher , so refrig will run longer , but lower the freezer setting so some cold air will enter the refrig section . Also check to see if the freezer fan is working .

Freezer does not maintain temperature/moisture in freezer

The door seals are letting air in or the seal at the ice dispenser has gone bad and is letting outside(hot) air in and it is the cause of the moisture.
