I so have the same comute, dont use the windows 7 upgrade for the ATI card 5670, the latest driver fails miserably and will give blue screen, I had to revert back to the driver from Medion Support, also if your computer is clicking 4 times on shutdown, you need to fix that issue as well, its the ieee394 fire wire causing the prob with shut down, if you download device doctor it will source the correct driver for you, install all new drivers except the ATI drivers, I have two of these beasts and cant kill them no matter what I throw at It, also download the new direct x 11 drivers and I hope you have success as the tower is a good solid built comp with two years warranty cheers paul
I bought my cookie the other day and saw the same problem, each time you select pc suite on the phone the comp crashes, instead choose "music sync" or "mass storage" the later means you dont have to have the pc suite software running on the comp you can drop and drag in windows just like its a usb flash drive, when ur ph is connected you'll see a new drive appear in "my computer" (2 drives if you have a micro sd card inserted). Now you can drag and drop your files into these folders, I had probs with the software installation ended up downloading drivers of net one for music sync (which uses pc suite software) another for mass storage which'll end up being the only one I connect with, It looks to me like a software fault which makes the comp crash when you select pc suite. hope this gets you up and running, good luck :)
your comp is infected for sure.i`ve seen many cases where my customer`s comp is infected and they face the same problem.
make sure you have ethernet cable plugged in to your laptop so we can use safe mode with networking.
shutdown your computer.on top of the keyboard you have F8 key.the moment you`ll press the power button to turn on the computer start tapping F8.
advance boot up options will appear.
select safe mode with networking
try restoring your comp to a previous time when it was working.
if it doesn`t work don`t worry just follow the steps below. In any case you have to clean virus out of your computer.
download, install and run this software.after running the scan clean all the infections and restart your comp.
hi,remove the drivers restart, shutdown relocate the card to different pci slot, reinstall the drivers, then try again hope this helps, good luck, if you have the install disk use that, then go for newer drivers.
