Jbl 75815 stud broke

First, it really depends on your car model. normally its easier to replace broken stud on the rear disk than the front if your car is a rear wheel drive. On the rear, the moment you remove your tires you only need to initiate impacts on the disk to loosen it and after removing the disk you can hammer the broken stud to dislodge it from its fitted hole then pressure fit the new one in place by hammering it in unless you have a machine that can do it. On the other hand, replacing broken stud on the front requires you more efforts as you need to detach other items like the disc plate cover, and if necessary dislodge the spindle assembly from the velocity joint to create space for the broken stud to be removed from its hole.

Wheel studs broke off

A shop can install new studs in a short time. The old studs can be pressed out or punched out, and new ones installed and drawn into a tight fit.

How do you remove the Wheel hub from a 2003 Acura mdx awd? I broke a wheel stud while getting the tire off and now am trying to replace the wheel stud.

if memory serves, you should be able to replace wheel stud by hammering it out backwards/inboard.then replacement is a case of pulling new stud through.

I need to replace the studs on the front drivers side rotor, three of the broke off when I was removing the wheel to replace the brakes. What does it require?

The studs are in the hub behind the rotor and it has to be removed because the studs have to be driven out with a hammer (and punch when broken) and driven back in. When you buy the new studs, you'll see what I mean.

Does the wheel barring have to be replaced when the stud is broke

If you use a hammer to drive the broken stud out you can cause damage to the bearing.
If you use a wheel stud press, the hub bearing will not be affected. The press will remove the old stud and install the new one.
Good luck.

Front wheel stud broke off

Knuckle needs to be removed and the center hub 'pressed out' using a hydraulic press (accepted procedure). You can avoid this by using an air hammer and disk cutting tool to remove the old stud, then trim the 'stop flange' on the new stud (1/4 moon cut) in order to install it.... however, you gotta know what you're doing so you don't compromise the integrity of the new stud.

grab a large punch and hammer and knock out the old broken one. Push the new one in and re tighten. This will pull it into place and because it has splines it should not spin while doing so.
