Question about Dynex DXR24TV 24" TV
About the service mode, service manual for Dynex CRT models is not easy to find.
Test the following, it works on some Dynex and Insigna TVs:
Take apart the remote and find the hidden buttons inside the remote.You should find several switches not connected to keyboard. Locating the right ones is a problem that you must solve on the spot.
Turn the TV on and push down first the left hidden button and then the right hidden button without holding. If that worked the word TEST will be displayed in upper right corner of the TV screen. Use number keys to select menus, nr.1 and nr.3 have video adjustments needind in convergence.
That is the way it used to work on Dynex/Insignia CRTs.
by the way if the "Raster has About 1/2" black at bottom till tv warms up 5-10 minutes" that means that the problem cannot be fixed with service mode adjustment. Problem is a defective component. Check STK ICs soldering joints, read Ohms on resistors and ensure they have continuity

The best thing I can suggest for this is to contact the TV manufacter or the closest authorised repair agent as the guide to access the service menu will be located in the service manual, often restricted to the brands tech support team or the authorised service agent.
I do not have a servive manual for this brand so I can't offer any assistance on what it is.

Sometimes new capacitor doesn't really mean OK,
especially for low value capacitors, ( like 1uF and 2.2 uf )
There still other causes besides capacitor, a changed-
valued resistor , If it looks OK after warming up
Trace the input of the vertical IC , replace the capacitor
shunted to ground.
Check the diode ( Boost stage )
Check/replace output capacitor
Check the capacitor for the supply of the Vertical IC
It could also be coming from the Vert osc.
