Hi, I have the same projector, same problem. I'm pretty sure it's the power supply because the internal fuse is fine. How much for a new power supply?

Hi ktricks

The problem will definitely be with your powersupply , but before investing in a new one - open up the unit by taking off the top cover and replace the fuse that is on the powersupply - this is 90% of the time the only problem.

If this doesn't work , please supply me with the part number on the part and also with your country you are in and I'll send you the pricing and dealer's contact details.

Lamp LED should be lit when the projector is in Standby. However, the problem you are describing sounds like one of two issues. Either the lamp is bad and needs replaced, or there is a power supply fault. If you have tried replacing the lamp already, make sure you reset the lamp counter or the projector may still not function properly.

does the temp warning light come on when the projector shuts off? if so you may also try cleaning the air vent filters and ensure there is proper air flow around the projector. if that checks out then have the projector serviced as the power supply is likely suspect.

Runco CL710 projector. Had power outage and projector won't turn on. Project was plugged into surge protector. Surge protector is working, green light is on. Checked all electrical breakers, they are...

The capacitors on the power supply need to be replaced. When you take apart the projector, and then remove the power supply (it's the section that the power cord goes to) and open it up. Look for the little can capacitors and see if any of them are bulging on top. That is the sign that they've blown. Replace the big ones (about 5) for about $5 in parts. Reassemble and test by turning it on. Search for YouTube video for this.

I turn it on and the fan comes on and the lights on top but it doesnt project

Unless the set is probed and checked into the fault cannot be confirmed. It can be the powerr supply unit or the lamp .
I would suggest that you musta ttempt only if you are versed with electronics. If so check the power secondary voltages into the lamp , check the safety door lids switches, the filter.

I have replaced the lamp to my projector, but still doesnt work. Power light and bulb lights are still red.

Hello C navor hi, my experience with projectors, tells me that there is problem with the power supply section, Have it check for short on the regulator section, this could be anything from bulging capacitors, open resistors or the power regulator, the red means that there in no power going to the main board and the power supply section is on standby.

When i power up my projector the screen projects some vertical colored lines and none of the buttons work. i cant even get any tpe of picture on the screen

Hello Lvhrj, Hi!, the projector unit has basically two circuit boards, one for the main board, that controls the lens, lamp, blower fans, and projector circuit controls, the second one is the power supply board, since as you mention, there is power on the projector, I suspect the problem is on the mainboard, Servicing this type of board is no nonsense, double sided and its way beyond our experience, but we do replace the entire main board, so the only solution is to replace the main board, this requires tech knowledge, if you are not that kind of person, I suggest you let the experts do it for you, call your service center, or your dealer.
