Camera malfunction on Picture and Video

Camera mode:

The display has horizontal lines and no image appears on the display on both night and normal mode.

Video mode:

In night mode it functions perfectly.
In normal mode it has horizontal lines and no image appears.

    my camera is not working when i open the camera it shows ANOTHER APPLICATION IS RUNNING.CLOSEIT,AND THEN START THE CAMERA

    yeah the pictures look all contrasty and mine has vertical lines. it takes normal videos though and takes pictures only with panorama and framed

Take the phone and have the camera replaced on the phone.

srnvs - the firmware needs to be reflash on your phone to correc this issue....take the phone to a mobile service center to have this done or try online at topsony.com.

Tips for camera


Using the camera:
Your phone has a flash to help you to take pictures in different lighting environments. The flash is on by default, but you can turn it off or use the automatic setting. To set the desired mode when using the camera, select Options > Flash and Flash off, Flash on or Automatic.
Fast viewing with memory card To view your images and video clips quicker, use your memory card as the main memory for storing them.
In the camera application, select Options > Settings > Image / video storage > Memory card.
Capture and send You can send the picture immediately after you have taken it when you are previewing it. To display a picture immediately after you take it, select Options > Settings > Image preview time and the preview time. During the preview time, select Back to take another picture, or Send to send the picture as a multimedia message.
Print your images Your phone supports Nokia XpressPrint to print images that are in .jpg format. To print your pictures, connect your phone to a compatible printer using a data cable or send the image by Bluetooth to a printer supporting Bluetooth technology. Select the image you want to print from the Gallery, and when viewing the picture, select Options > Print.

Hi! When I try to go into camera or video recorder mode, on display appear many orizontal green lines and the image is not clear at all. pls help. Thks


first reset ur phone.....if wont work reinstall ur phone software it might b damaged.....if stitt problem then open ur phone and refix it but before u refix it clean it with siprit........if still it doing the same thing...then replace it.......

Aol Instant Messenger Not Working on Samsung Epix

http://dashboard.aim.com/aim to download and then install.
Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.
AIM (AOL) Messenger

  1. On the VIM sign-in window click on Edit.
  2. Then click on Settings Enhanced IM.
  3. Next click on Enhanced IM.
  4. Then click on Audio Video.
  5. The Audio and Video portion has drop downs so you can select the proper audio card and video camera installed in you computer.
The Audi Video drop downs are
Microphone Speaker
Camera The audio and camera should function now.

Additional info to use with VIM settings.
Adjust Your Audio and Video Settings: In order to adjust your audio and video settings, please follow the steps given below:
1. Click the Audio and Video Settings button directly below the My Buddy or My Camera window. If you are currently participating in an AOL Live Video IM session, a message will display: You must disconnect the current AOL Live Video IM conversation before running setup. Would you like to disconnect now? Click the Yes button.
2. The Audio and Video Tuning Wizard will appear to help you verify that your camera, speakers and microphone are working properly. Follow the on-screen prompts.

Notes:
  • The first time you use AOL Live Video IM, a message will display: Would you like to first check your audio and video settings? Click the Yes button. No picture in horizontal mode


make sure u have enough light while taking your pic in horizontal mode because the camera is in a different form then usual.
