A dehumidifier normally discharges the air out the front and the air circulates through the space and returns with more moisture to the back. If you are getting no moisture out there is a possibility your unit may have lost its refrigerant charge. Is the air coming out warm or equal to the temperature of the air going in. If this is the case you have the same indication of a lost charge.
