Failure in installing webcam drivers

After inserting cd when I select the option to install the drivers for web cam, it will start with the installation, but at the very end it displays sorry for inconvenience, uninstalling. I have to press the reset button and restart the machine. After restarting the machine when I scan the ControlPanel-Add Remove Programs I will find the webcam drivers installed but when I pluck in the camera in USB it will display a warning for failure and STOP INSTALLATION. The same installation was sucessfully done on my office computer. Kindly help me.
