Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. F1 error means that the control board (ERC) has gone bad and the electronic range control (ERC) should be replaced to resolve the issue. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

How do you set the clock on the Electrolux cooker?

You didn't specified the model of the oven so it is possible to set in a different way. There are several kinds of timer (with tree, four, five and six buttons) depending on the model of the oven. Here is explained how to set clock on the most common oven timer with three buttons.

First of all, the oven only operates when the time has been set.
When the appliance has been connected to the electrical supply or when there has been a power cut, the function indicator Time flashes automatically.

1. To change the time that has already repeatedly, until the function indicator Time flashes.

2. Set the current time using the "+" or "-" button.

After approx. 5 seconds, the flashing stops and the clock displays the time of day set. The appliance is now ready to use.

I have a problem with a Baxter OV300g Oven. The Automatic Ignition System keeps Flashing 1-flash Air flow problem, can you help me with this. Thank you.

Check to see if your draft inducer (exhaust fan) is running, if it is then you could have a dirty/bad air switch, the component with the small black hose running to it and the two wires on the face. To check an air switch using a multi-meter set it to 40 VAC and place a lead on each terminal, if you are getting a voltage reading over 1 volt, replace the air switch, if you have zero volts, the air switch is closed and working. Aside from a bad exhaust motor or air switch there could be many things causing that error.

Can you tell me how to turn on a tecno fan forced oven? It has been turned off by power interuption and now the clock is flashing with 0.00 and 1 and Auto? Please help.... thanks

most digital clocks have several buttons underneath them they are usually set by pressing 2 of the buttons at the same time and then the up down button for the time sometimes the up down setting is done by rotating a knob you will know when you have chosen the correct buttons the numbers will stop flashing failing that relist your problem with a model name and number if you can find one

When I set my oven to self clean after about 20 minutes or so it beeps and flashes F3, I hit clear about a few minutes later it beeps and flashes F1. Mary

F-3 is a sensor failure. themobilian_428.jpgthemobilian_429.jpgthemobilian_430.jpg

F-1 is a control failure. Sometimes cleaning the corrosion off the sensor quick plug or bypassing it entirely cures the problem. I would check the sensor and replace it before buying a oven control.

I have a kenmore wall oven that flashes f7 every time we try to use it. and it turns itself off right in the middle of cooking and starts flashing the f7. Help !!!!

Kenmore recommends this:

The display of your control is flashing "F" followed by a number or letter. Oven malfunction. Press the CLEAR/OFF pad. Let the oven cool for 1 hour and place the oven back into an oven operation. If the problem repeats, call for service. 1-800-4-My-Home.

If you state the model #, I can look up the owner's manual for you and give you the link. Let me know.

Contune to beep F-1 flashes

f-1 codes are usually a temperature issue. you should try ohm'ing out the temperature probe you should have about 1260 ohms. if you are off by 40 ohms then replace the temperature probe. if it is close then you may have a bad control.
