Alternator belt

My alternator belt comes off the pulleys everytime it rains. Why???
I have the same problem.

While engine is running and its not raining check the belts while standing to the side of the engine to see if the pulley is alligned properly. If it is, then it must be replaced or tightened. If not, then a mechanic has tampered with the pulley system at one time and forgot to put a spacer back in.
