SOURCE: right earbud plays really soft.

I found the problem with the right earphone. The meshing in front of the speaker cone which protects it from damage or earwax has been pushed in. The meshing and the cone were coming into contact and muffling the speaker.

I took a knife blade and pushed in on the edge of the meshing, which pushed the center of the meshing back out. So I still have a dent in my earphone, but it plays loudly again.

SOURCE: My left earbuds on my JVC gummy earphones went out.

I have this problem all the time with my JVC earbuds. This may sound a little gross but it will work. I put the ear phone in my mouth and **** on the end of it pretty hard. What I have found is that sweat or even wax will plug the little hole and prevent the sound from coming out.

SOURCE: sweat got into earbud- sound very faint

That happens because the water and saline solution in the sweat are causing the wires inside the earbud shorting to each other, or shorting to the earbud casing that is grounded.

Let the earbud dry out in few hours or more, if the problem does not go away, then get replacement heaphones, it means that oxide formation on the contacts is causing a short.

Do not use shorted hearphones they can cause damage to the connected device.

Regards.

SOURCE: left earbud problems

Well, I had the same problem with the right earbud. Luckily I was under warranty with Target, so they told me to contact Bose. I did and they had me send in the headphones (to make sure I waas telling the truth) and about 2 weeks later I got my earbuds back. Their customer service is excellent, so that's what I would reccomend

Why is there no music being transmitted from turntable to sound system?

If the amps connected to the deck have no dedicated "phono" socket / setting you will only hear weak sound. However you can get a magnetic cartridge pre-amp. This connects between the turntable and amp and makes the signal the same level as what would come off say a tape recorder.

I can't hear people

Make sure you don't try to transmit without a proper CB antenna, it will damage & blow out the power transistors! If you have another CB close by, try listening without the antenna attached If you even faintly hear whats transmitted by the other CB, your antenna cable is probably shorted out... AGAIN don't try to transmit with no antenna or a shorted cable it will damage the unit!

Why did my left earbud become silent?

Hi,
you can make both of the earbuds work. You can open the earbud where the speaker is that you use to hear the musik. Use a soldering iron and a lead. check if the wire inside has removed, fix it back and you will hear sound on both earbuds.

Take care.

sound's like the couping between the moter and the transmition is bad.to replace the coupling you first to remove the two screw's on the frount of the control panal.than pull control panal forward and lift up and back.next you nead to remove the clip's on the left and right.next unplug wire harness from door switch line.next lift the door and pull body forward and out.the whole body will come off.the first thing you will see is the water pump.remove the two 1/4# screw's from clamp's holding the pump on. next remove the two clamp's.next pull pump forward and to the left to keep it out of the way.next remove the wire harness from motor.next remove the clip's from motor and pull motor out.next remove what is left of the coupling from the motor and the transmition.install new coupling kit.you my have to use a exstention and a hammer to tap new part's on motor and transmition.next place rubber part on transmition and line open hole at 12 oclok.on the moter make sure you have one of the prong's at 12oclok to match the transmition.take the motor and line it up with the transmition and push it on.next reinstale the two clip's to motor.next reinstale wire harness to motor.next realine warter pump with motor.you my have to manualy turn coupling to get motor to line up with pump.reinstall clip's to water pump along with the two 1/4#screw's.next reinstall body on frame and reinstall the clip's to the left and the right.next hook up the wire harness back on the door switch line.next rotate control panal down and set in place and reinstall the two screw's and you are done.

User hears faint static while on a call. It's not load enough to make it hard to hear the caller, but a noticable crackling/static noise can be heard in the background. happens on every call.

Cell phones transmit the sound as digital data. The data when converted back to analog to listen too CAN have "digitizing noise" which will sound like static.

WORSENING the problem is if there is noise in the background of the person sending the voice and the worst possiblle is to have MUSIC in the background. These both drive the CODEC (the analog conversion system) crazy and will create what you describe. The CODEC is designed to transmit ONLY voice.

Sony MDR-NC11 Left Earbud has no sound

They should come apart right where the metal meets the plastic, just below the buds themselves - be careful, one set like that I took apart were actually surface-mounted to the housing, there weren't any leads to repair...

If you are using vox (voice activated transmit) go into the menu and make sure you don't have the VOX setting too high. You should be able to put the headset on... hit the "push to talk" button on the radio and transmit you audio. Turn the other radio on and make sure the radio is "keying" (tx with no auio) then make sure there is audio. If you don't have audio but the radio is transmitting.. you might have the wrong type of plug on your headset for the audio..... there are 2 plugs... 1 for transmit audio....1 for recieve audio. It could be the wrong type of plug for the jack in the radio. Regardless.. the way the headset works is either you push the "push to talk button" onj the radio OR you use the VOX function... with the vox function you just have to talk into the mic to transmit. This is what your headset is designed for. You will have to go into the menu and set up the radio for VOX. If you still have problems follow my directions at the top of this page ( check mic jack and stuff) I think you just have to set the radio up for VOX operation and set the VOX setting. You should be able to push the push to talk button and talk through the mic on the headset. If you don't get any audio that way there is a problem and you should check the jack and plug on the headset.
