How do I find and turn on microphone

In the control panel find the icon that looks like a speaker. It usually says Sounds and Audio devices. Check there to see if it's muted. Then click on the audio tab to see if it's selected as the default device. Make the necessary changes that may be needed. If no microphone is listed then you'll have to obtain an external microphone and plug it in the pink audio jack.

How do fix loud continuous ringing sound n microphone

Try to adjust the settings for your microphone in the "Sound" settings in your Windows control panel. Go to the recording tab to find the correct settings. If that doesn't fix it, check the 3.5mm jack is properly seated in the connecting jack. If that doesn't fix it, buy a new microphone.

Does the 1030NR netbook have a built in micro-phone? If yes, How do I activate it for Skype use?

No, there is no built-in microphone on your machine, you have to buy one separately.
NB! It requires a combined headphone/microphone jack. The regular jacks work for the headphones, however the microphones will not work.

HP Laptop Microphone Jack

It sounds like you just need to choose the default audi input device. You can do this by going to the control panel.

Start Menu > Control Panel > Sound

Once you get there just go to the recordings tab, select the device you want to use and hit "Set Default" after that you can hit properties and it should show you which jake it pertains too.

Dell Inspiron 6000 PC Audio Ports Damaged

You should have sound from the speakers at all times until headphones are plugged into the jack, the jack then overrides the speakers and allows you to listen using the headphones. If the speakers aren't working, it's because they're being overridden by the damaged jack. The only way to correct this is to replace the faulty jacks. You could get a set of external speakers, the con is they're bulky and inconvenient.
