So, if you unplug this unit from the wall completely, let it sit for a good 2 minutes, and replug it in, is the alarm still going off? If so something has definitely malfunctioned inside the device. Let me know and I can continue to help!

Thanks
Tim

Oh, so it is not continuous then, I was thinking it was "stuck" on. You should be able to hit the same button you use that "enables" the alarm, possibly just labeled "alarm" or similar at the top. Also, some alarms do not have a button to turn them off, it may just need to go through the whole alarm "cycle" unfortunately. "Cheaper" alarms are notorious for this. However you should be able to at least turn the volume down on the alarm.... try adjusting the volume when the alarm is going off, if the "alarm" button does not turn it off.

I will continue to research here... but it may just be a "feature" of the unit lol.

    Thanks
    Tim

Ihome--ih8,

I got the iH8 as a present everything works fine except for the ipod alarm. the unit will play my music when i press the play ipod button, and recognizes its plugged in, but when i set the ipod alarm, without taking out the ipod or anything, it doesnt go off with my music, it just buzzes. Idont think it is the ipod because i have updated the software on the ipod and have even tried 3 different ipods with the iH8. i have had the iH8 for about 2 weeks and set it nearly every day, and out of all those times it has gone off with my music only 3 times. How do i get it to work every time!??

How do you make the memorex mi4019 blk alarm clock for ipod play your songs?????

Insert the iPod into the dock. The device should turn on and switch to iPod mode. If not, turn it on and click the Mode button to swtich to iPod mode. Use the play button on the device to play, or use the iPod's controls to navigate to the music you want to hear and press Play on the iPod. Make sure the volume on the Memorex mi4019 is turned up.

Ozaki imini (cute)

This is easy, hold down "mode" until the alarm time flashes, then press "mode" again, it will cycle through a menu, there is an "on" option to turn on the ipod at a certain time, you select "on" then press mode again, it will cycle to the next menu, set the time you want the ipod to turn on, press menu again, then you can select the "ipod off" time, I keep that option off as I want the ipod to stay on until I turn it off. Now you have set the ipod to turn on at whatever time you want. Turn off that terrible buzzer alarm. The confusing thing is the imini has to different alarm modes, not one alarm mode with two alarm sound options like most everything else.

Ihome won't play ipod, even after resetting ipod

When I first got my ipod touch and my ihome I had no problems and then all of a sudden everything worked except for the ihome wouldn't play music. It charged properly and the alarm and clock worked fine just the music wouldn't play. So I assumed it was the ihome and took it back and exchanged it only to get home and have the exact same problem. So I reset my Ipod and it worked. To do it you have to hold the sleep button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across it to turn off. Press and hold the sleep button until the apple comes on. Next I sync'ed and looke dfor an update. After all this I docked it and it worked.

Try a Reset...
Hold the centre button and menu button down together and keep them pressed until the apple logo appears on the screen then try it.

IPod Nano startup

Have you tried The Famous 5 Ipod R's? " 1. Reset your iPod, iPod nano, iPod mini( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61705 ), or iPod shuffle ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300595 ). 2. Retry your iPod with a different USB or FireWire port on your computer (please note that the latest iPods can only be synced through USB). 3. Restart your computer, and make sure that you have the latest software updates installed. 4. Reinstall your iPod and iTunes software. You can download the latest versions of iPod Updater (http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/ ) and iTunes (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ ) from our website. 5. Restore your iPod using the latest iPod Updater. Important: Please note that restoring (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60983 ) an iPod will erase all songs and files on your iPod and restore it back to its original settings. Make a backup of any files on your iPod before restoring it. After restoring, you can transfer your music and files from your computer back to your iPod again. Watch the Five Rs performance in action! (http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/tutorial/ip_gettingstarted_t16.html) " Did it help any? Good luck!
