SOURCE: pc says non compatable usb decice

It could be the service pack of your computer's operating system. You may need a later version. When connecting your n73 to the computer, select "Pc suite" on your phone. Try any or both of these. Preferably use the 2nd solution first.

SOURCE: i have nokia xpress music 5130 and it gives me

Hi,

I myself own this awesome music phone.

Find the answers below:

1) As it shows less internal memory, it seems that you have transfered some data like mp3, video clips through bluetooth to this phone and it was saved in the recieved folder which autmatically saves in phone memory. Try saving the data to memory card and you will get the phone memory free.

2) Check the above reason for this same issue.

3) You need to select proper connectivity mode under settings of this phone. Go to settings and then open connectivity folder. Here select the connection mode.

Make sure to install the latest PC suite software on the computer. This can be downloaded from the NOKIA website.

Anand

How do you get music to save on a new 4gb memory card on a nokia E5 instead of saving in phone memory

Transfer music from a computer
You can use the following methods to transfer music:

• To install Nokia Ovi Player to manage and organize your music files, download
the PC software from www.ovi.com, and follow the instructions.

• To view your device on a computer as a mass memory device where you can
transfer any data files, make the connection with a compatible USB data cable
or Bluetooth connectivity. If you are using a USB data cable, select Mass
storage as the USB connection mode. A compatible memory card must be
inserted in the device.

• To synchronize music with Windows Media Player, connect a compatible USB
data cable, and select PC Suite as the USB connection mode. A compatible
memory card must be inserted in the device.

To change the default USB connection mode, select Menu > Ctrl. panel >
Connectivity > USB and USB connection mode.

I hope this information will be helpful. Thank you for using FixYa!

I have albums in my pc and want to transfer the albums to my nokia 97?

Not sure if you meant photo album or music album??? Here is the steps for both, music first:

Transfer music from a
computer
You can use the following methods to transfer
music:
● To install Nokia Music to manage and organise
your music files, download the PC software from
www.music.nokia.com/download, and follow
the instructions.
● To view your device on a computer as a mass
memory device where you can transfer any data
files, make the connection with a compatible USB
data cable or Bluetooth connectivity. If you are
using a USB data cable, select Mass storage as
the connection mode.
● To synchronise music with Windows Media
Player, connect a compatible USB data cable, and
select Media transfer as the connection mode.
To change the default USB connection mode, select
Menu > Settings and Connectivity > USB > USB
connection mode.

This works for music, photos, or video:
Select Menu > Settings and Connectivity >
USB.
To have the device
ask the purpose of
the connection
each time a
compatible data
cable is connected,
select Ask on connection > Yes.
If the Ask on connection option is turned off or you
want to change the mode during an active
connection, select USB connection mode and from
the following:
● PC Suite — Use Nokia PC applications such as
Nokia Ovi Suite, and Nokia Software Updater.
● Mass storage — Transfer data between your
device and a compatible PC.
● Image transfer — Print images with a
compatible printer.
● Media transfer — Synchronise music with Nokia
Music or Windows Media Player.

How to send photo from mobile to our computer

there are 3 ways

1.
You can use the USB data cable to transfer data between
the device and a compatible PC or a printer supporting

Nokia PC Suite.
To activate the device for data transfer or image
printing, connect the data cable. Confirm "USB data
cable connected. Select mode.
" and select from the
following options:
Nokia mode — to use the device for PC Suite
Printing & media — to use the device with a
PictBridge compatible printer or with your
compatible PC
Data storage — to connect to a PC that does not
have Nokia software and use the device as a data
storage device
To change the USB mode, select Menu > Settings >
Connectivity > USB data cable and the desired USB
mode.

2.
Set up a Bluetooth connection
Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity >
Bluetooth and from the following options:

function. indicates that Bluetooth is activated.
My phone's visibility — to define how your device
is shown to other Bluetooth devices

in range. Select New to list any Bluetooth device in
range. Select a device and Pair. Enter an agreed
Bluetooth passcode of the device (up to 16
