    Dear Bob,
I have my Humax manual and we have tried to deal with page 19 manual Analogue TV but it didnt woork, so I will print off your instructions and take them to a good repair guy to give me a price, being a pensioner I cannot afford too much.
Lets hope it works in the end.

You have a couple of hurdles to overcome first off is the signal standard.

http://countrycode.org/tv-standards

As you can see they both use PAL but the second indicator letter is also different. That would indicate modifications to the rf demodulator and that is a task I would only entrust to a good repair shop.

The voltage and frequency specifications are fine so there should be no issue on that score..

It may be as simple as replacement of the RF section but you might also have the difficulty of finding the correct parts locally as humax is NOT a European brand so they may have to order a part from source.

The manual is here in case you lost it
http://www.humax-digital.de/products/new_manual/lau-26tpvr_me.pdf

Pay particular attention to page 19 onward as your model may even be able to work without modification.

Whilst the menu functions are not all listed you may be able to select the correct PAL B/G/I AT ABOUT THIS POINT.

This means your TV MAY NOT require any expensive work !!!

Whre it says SYTEM are the options you need to change from its present setting "B/G" to "I"

I wish you luck but on this occasion I dont think you will need it. Maybe just a teenager who can operate it.

From the manual and specifications you should be in and out of the repair shop pretty quickly at minimum expense.
