Hello,
Common problem with this TV is the power supply module.
Check the power supply; look for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, check to see if you have standby +5vdc at the power supply connector, the front red indicator will not be on if you do not have this +5vdc standby voltage due to shorted out. hope this help in solving the problem.

My ps3 wont change to hdmi gone through display settings and wont connect with hd tv says theres error somewhere any ideas how to solve this?

Hi, what you need to do is reset the video display. Do this by following steps :

Step 1. Turn the PS3 off into standby (red light on)

Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep once when you first press it, then again 5 seconds later. When you hear this second beep let go of the power button.

Step 3. Wait for your PS3 to start up.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa

TV just went off and wont turn back on, Is there a reset button?

There is no reset button per say, try unplugging the tv for a few minutes and plug it back in again and see if it will reset. If not then you may have a component failure in your set.

Tv stopped working, will not turn on, is there a reset button?

it can be fixed , it might be a fuse or a protection component or the power transformer but it will have to be tested to find the power problem.

Timer light blinks on and off and tv wont turn on

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.
If ever resetting is no effect then the problem is in the "DM board"
The constant blinking green light means that the TV is not booting up. This is a common problem on this set. Hope it may help you; Regards, VOTIT
