Question about Pinnacle Studio Plus Version 11
I purchased a p6860fx gateway laptop , a digital camcorder & studio11 ultimate on may 4 2008. i installed studio 11 and before the install completed i received an error message "initialization failed". i went to pinnacles web site and found thier suggested fix. i followed the instructions. i still got the same error message. i then emailed and called pinnacle tech support. after several hours on the phone (3 sepperate calls) they (pinnacle) said it is not a program problem, but a computer problem. 080514-01695 is the case number. i then emailed gateway with a discription of the problem, i still have received no response from them. i have spent over $2700 on this combo. the camcorder and software on the original purchase would not work with this pc either. so i returned the camcorder and upgraded by the tune of an additional $330. i am not complaining about that, the upgrade was worth the money. however the studio 11 still does not work. please help!
