When i get to the oil refinery in mission 2 the waypoint arrow is hard to follow. I go in the direction it points to and end up falling into a purple area and have to drive for a long time to get back to the game graphics.

The game is Desert Thunder, PC.

  • bobonics Sep 22, 2010

I have Desert Thunder, PC game. When i get to the oil refinery in Mission 2, the waypoint arrow doesn't point me in the right position.

  • bobonics Sep 23, 2010

    It's a PC.

  • bobonics Sep 23, 2010

I reinstalled Desert Thunder, but I can't find the arrow that guides me to the next target. The compass shows a circle right between North and West, but I've gone every way you possibly can.

  • bobonics Sep 24, 2010

I'm still having trouble with the compass. It circles the direction on the compass, and then when I arrive at the waypoint it goes away.

  • bobonics Sep 24, 2010

I blew up a building and it said I could go on to the next mission! Thanks for the help!

I solved the problem with the desert thunder PC, had to blow up a building and then it let me advance. Thanks, for the help. Robert.

How long have you been playing this game? You may need to upgrade the graphic card to get this going right and your second option is to try re installing the game itself. You may have a program crash that's why it's not working properly. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

HAS NO POWER AND DIES OUT WHEN GIVING MORE THROTTLE OR TRYING TO CUT

I have the same problem. Can't find my manual to look up trouble-shooting guide. Did following, but same symtom after:
1.) Clean air and fuel filter
2.) Replace gas lines with "tygon" tubing; check for kinks in gas lines.

Observations:
1.) Runs good for about 20 seconds then dies slow death. Starts and idles good.
2.) Air bubbles in primer squeeze bulb.
3.) Gas tank is pressurized.

My next trial and error mission:
1.) Fresh gas and oil mix.
2.) Remove gas and oil filters for bench test
3.) Replace primer tube (it is smaller than gas tube) so I cut ends and re-used old.

If you have pin-pointed the problem let me know. It sure seems like gas starvation.

How do i install additional links to this model watch? the company mailed me 2 additional links but no installation instructions Fossil model ES1967

  • Turn your watch on its side so the links are vertical. On the inside of the links closest to the clasp you can see arrows, which point in the direction that the pins must be pushed out. Only about four links on either side of the clasp have arrows, because these are the only links with removable pins. On the edge of the links on the opposite end from where the arrow is pointing you will see a small circle where the pin is inserted.
  • Place the tip of your pointed tool on the small circle mentioned in Step 1. Push downward on the pin in the direction the arrow is pointing. Once the pin starts to come out of the link, use your fingertips or a pair of tweezers to completely remove the pin from the link. You may need to use force, but be careful not to scratch your watchband. Use a pointed tool from a jeweler's or hobby kit or watch pin removal tool.
  • Slide the links apart where you removed the pin so there is a gap in the watchband. Slide your new link into the gap and fit the neighboring links into the new link so it matches the rest of the watchband.
  • Insert the new pin into the watchband. You will need to insert two pins, the pin you removed in Step 2 and your new pin, into the two empty pin holes. You need to insert the pin small end first so the larger pin head does not pass through the link. Insert the pin against the direction of the arrow rather than in the direction the arrow is pointing like you did in Step 2. Use your pointed tool and your fingertips to push the pins completely in the links until the pin head is flush with the edge of the link.

Unable to load coordinates for a projected waypoint

There are two ways you can load a way point.

    1. Hit mark on your GPS. Push up on your rocker until the coordinates are highlighted. Once they are hit enter. From here you can change the coordinates to what ever you want.

    2. If you have the software (Mapsource Trip & Waypoint Manager) you can enter the waypoint by going to "Edit" then "New Waypoint" or hit Ctrl + W as a shortcut. Once you create all the points you need, plug in your GPS and turn it on, then click "Send to Device"

Make sure that your mapsource and GPS are both setup on the same datum and lat/lon style corrdinates as well or it could throw it off.

How to adjust watch band on relic steel watch

OK basically there must be an element that you can push out in the direction of the arrow. Either there is a very thin pin (like a needle) that you can push out with a blunt sewing needle (break the tip), or there is a more sophisticated system as it is shown under the following link:

Hi, the DOT (Direction Of Travel) arrow will only appear on the Compass page when you are navigating.
    1. Go to the 'Main Menu'
    2. Select 'Find'
    3. Select 'Waypoints'
    4. Select a waypoint
    5. Select the 'Go TO' button
Once you are on the Compass page you should have the DOT arrow as long as you have a sat lock.
