Possible that the selected time or power was insuffcient. Use a longer time with the same power rating to steam the coffee.
However if the coffee is not heating I am afraid we need to check on the Magnetron, capacitors or transfomer. Can it be also low mains voltage?

Hello Pat, You have a common occurring problem. Your tubing in clotted. The least expensive solution is to use regular vinegar instead of water for several cycles, no coffee grounds. The clot will dissolve and water flow will return to normal. Cycle just water until no taste or smell of vinegar is present. Have some HOT COFFEE.

CUP HANDLES GET TO HOT WHEN I WARM COFFEE.

It is your cup. The handle density or moisture content of the handle is causing the mwave to heat it. The rest of the cup contains a liquid (coffee?) that is absorbing any heat generated in the body of the cup. Use a different cup!
