I cant access anything... cant delete files download files or open certain files and cant get into the user qaccount settings even while logged in as the admin

This is due to virus attack. you may re-install your operating system. after that you install a valid anti virus software and it is always updated it.

Under assumptions your are trying to logon to a networked machine which requires that PC to contact a server to download your account.

now if this PC has been disconnected from the network but still has your temporary user profile stored on it, you can still log on but only as a temp user.

to solve this make sure your connected to the network either through wireless or wired.

First Solution: Browser Clearing

Try Clearing your Browser maybe you have a problem on your current browser.

Tips: Always Upgrade your browser to the lastest version.
Avoid using old browser such as IE 6 got lots of problem.

Microsoft Internet Explorer users

Second:

It is an odd problem. Try this, make sure your logged in as admin,
1.)un-installing msn, delete all files from - Document and Settings- Administrator- Application Data- Microsoft- MSN Messnger.

2.)Empty all temp folders from, Document and Settings- Administrator- Local Settings- Temp. Also clear all other temp folders, cookies, history, etc....

3.)Reboot. Reinstall messenger and put in your account info. Hopefully this works. If it dont then goto Microsoft support site and post your problem there. They should be able to help you.

I dont know what the heck is up with my computer. Previously, just yesterday in fact, I could access all my D: Drives Folder, but today, when I accidently dragged (lets name them folder a and b), Folder A...


This sounds a lot like something has taken over administrative rights to your computer, and limiting your access to your own folders. Try running Malwarebytes anti-malware to see if you have a trojan, rootkit or malware on your PC then try this program called unlocker1.8.7 to see if it will unlock the folder and give you permission to open it.

So you are saying that you cannot view your e-mails through you're logged in to your e-mail, right?

Try optimizing your Internet browser by deleting the Cookies and Internet files, here's how:

* For Internet Explorer version 6
1. Open IE6 > Tools > Internet Options.
2. Click the Delete Cookies button and Delete History.
3. Click on OK > Close and re-open your IE6.
4. Try accessing your e-mail account.

* For Internet Explorer version 7
1. Open IE7 > Tools > Internet Options.
2. Click the "Delete" button under the Browsing History option.
3. Delete the Cookies, Internet Files
4. Click on OK > Close and re-open IE7
5. Try accessing your e-mail account.

* For Mozilla FireFox
1. Open Firefox > Tools
2. Select "Clear Recent History"
3. Select Cookies, Cache, Browsing and Download History.
4. Close and re-open Firefox
5. Access your e-mail

DELETING ALL ACCESSED BY INTRENET EXPLORER7


All files you download would have been saved in the default download folder as you may have set in the web browser. If you hadn't set the default folder since the your browser you have installed it would be stored in the default folder set in the browser. To check what folder the files are being saved go to browser setting and find one and see the files stored in that folder. You can set the browser for store location where the files will be stores when you download it from the internet that way you would store all the files in your personalized locations next time. As far as the accessed files on internet is concerned they would be store in the temporary folders, you could delete the temporary files from the browser if you worried those files are being misused.

Cannot download adobe, (or any) files and get following message:


The problem lies in the Temporary Internet Files folder. Sometimes the index.dat file can become damaged.
If this occurs, you'll have to delete the index.dat file and restart your computer.
Then you'll be able to download files correctly again.
Follow the steps below to delete this file.

1) Open Internet Explorer.
2) Click on Tools, Click on Internet Options
3) On the General tab under Temporary Internet Files, click on Delete Files
4) Click Ok when it asks if you want to delete the files
5) Under the History section on the General tab, click Clear History, then click Ok
6) Close Internet Explorer
7) Log off the current user and Log onto another user account such as Administrator
8) Click on Start, Run
9) Type CMD and Press Enter to open a command prompt
10) Change directories to the Temporary Internet Files directory by typing the following command,
(substituting the correct drive letter and the word username with the correct userName).


cd drive:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

Example: cd c:\Documents and Settings\Mark\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

11) type del index.dat and press Enter
12) Type Exit and press Enter to close the command prompt
13) Restart your computer

Once the computer has been restarted, open a web page with a link to a download.
Click on the link and download the file. It should now work.
