I have a kelvinator single split wall mounted air conditioner that is no longer cooling. Everything seems to working ok but the air it is blowing is not cold. Can you advise what this may be.

not cooling indicates that the compressor is not working
most problems are from the outside unit from vermin infestation across the program board ( ants , lizards roaches etc)
best advice is to get a kelvinator service man out to determine the exact cause of the problem

My Kenmore freezer model # 970-257320 is no longer keeping food frozen. Suggestions?

IF the unit is not self defrosting and there is ice, you may have ice blocking the evaporator coils. If the unit is self defrosting and is not completing a defrost cycle then the defrost timer is bad.

My amplifier keeps going silent every couple of minutes

Try cooling or warming it to see if it stays on for more time(for cooling) or lower (for warming)...
If it does maybe the final stage of amplification (havent seen the scematics to tell you the exact component) must be overheating and stop its operation for safety and don't burn itself...
You should check the power supply for correct voltages and if they are correct change this chip with a new.
DONT change the IC before checking the psu because it may broke the new one too..

1999 grand voyager IS overheating. Randomly, it seems. Short trips, and quickly. AND longer trips. Then, sometimes, it will cool down without further intervention from me. It SEEMS the fans don't come...

Engine quickly overheating is often caused by a stuck closed thermostat. However, in your case since the fans don't come on, the most likely culprit is a bad fan speed controller. These are variable speed fans controlled by the speed controller. They fail when rust forms on the mounting/cooling area where the controller is mounted. This is an electronic device that has a heatsink on the back. When rust forms it can't dissipate heat and that burns out the controller. See the post below for more information on how to replace it.

Rare but possible. I suggest that you order the part yourself and call a serviceman to install it for you. That may be a way to circumvent paying such an exorbitant price for servicing.

Microwave will no longer heat. Model #MA-1000W

So we can help you, please post a NEW question, and please include your model number MA-1000Was well as the answers to these questions:

When you try to microwave are the inside light, internal cooling fan and turntable all working?

Is there any unusual noise or is it louder or quieter than normal?

A loud buzz, hum, or groan is usually a shorted high voltage rectifier diode, but a sound like gurgling into an empty coffee mug is one symptom of a failed magnetron, and yet the mag can be bad without that sound.

We have a sound clip of what a microwave should sound like when the cooling fan and high voltage section are working.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

My A/C on my Toyota 2005 Camry takes longer to cool the car and it does not get as cold as it used to

If you have not had the AC system charged recently, then it sounds like the system needs to be re-charged.
If you're handy around cars, you can purchase all the equipment and supplies to re- charge the system yourself, and you can come back on line for more info and advice. Otherwise, it's a matter of taking the car in to an auto shop for AC service.

Freezer not cooling enough

Check the condenser coil and clean it if it is dirty. It is located under the machine behind the grill in the front, or in the back of the machine near the compressor depending on the make and model. Also make sure that the condenser cooling fan near the compressor is working. If the refrigerant is not cooled properly in the condenser the system will run hot and not cool properly inside the freezer.
If this does not help your problem, you will probably need a refrigerant technician to check the system. A rule of thumb for refrigerator repair, Freezer working but Fridge warm = airflow blocked inside the unit somewhere, Fridge cooling but Freezer too warm = refrigerant problem. This is usually a major problem that will cost too much to repair than is cost effective . Check your owners manual for warranty information. Look for coverage for the "sealed system". This is usually 5 yrs but can go much longer depending on make and model.
Let me know what you find out. Please post the model and serial numbers if you have any more questions and I will try to help.
Thanks, Mike
