You will have to check for a possible loose connecction in either the earphone socket or the audio amplifier within the main board - audio section.
It is possible that while using earphone jacks the socket can be damaged over a period of time , there is a cut off of main speaker when headphone is used and releases when taken out.
So check here for audio , if not solder the Audio IC or connectors.

Wear hearing aids.have a com pilot but cannot hear netflex thru mt samsung smart tv?

My wife has significant hearing problems in both ears. About 4 years ago, we invested in wireless headphones for both of our TV's. Problem solved. Now, she can take her hearing aids out, put on the headphones and everything is fine.

Although I have no hearing issues, I too sometimes use them with great improvement - especially in British movies or where there is a lot of background noise. I highly, highly recommend them. We have two pair of Senheisers which we use constantly (mostly her). About $100 for each set. If you have a fairly new TV, hookup is easy, and the best part is that I don't have to turn the volume way up for the headphones. She can crank them up while I listen at a normal volume. DO IT. MAKE THE INVESTMENT. YOU WILL BE SO GLAD YOU DID.

I have a Net10 LG Optimus L35G I dropped it in water. It worked fine for a month added new airtime and the internet and speaker went off. They were able to fix the internet but still no speaker. I cant...

Electronics and water do not mix. You can try to turn the volume up, Turn the ring volume up, Try using it with headphones or wireless headphones, Almost anything can be fixed, but at what cost? If the simple things do not get results, there is probably an internal problem, sound amplifier, speaker, switching, or control.
Most internal problems would near or exceed the cost of replacement, Sorry!

I do not have any volume in the headphones i dont know how to turn them on or something please help me on how i can hear stuff like youtube videos or something.

Did they ever work or are you trying them on a new computer? They don't need switching on you just plug the plug into the audio out of your sound card or motherboard, make sure the mute button isn't selected on the inline remote. Play an mp3 on your computer, make sure the volume on your computer is turned up, plug in another known working set of headphones or active speakers make sure you can hear the music, then plug out those speakers and then plug in the headphones. Do they work when you try that?

Sound fades out on both earphones

The chance of both speakers going bad at same time is remote. Your ipod is at fault and has something wrong with its output circuits. Check to make sure that there is no muting circuit inadvertently turned on.

Headphones partiallly work

1. you headphone is a problem(broken)
try to plug it on another computer or television, if the same then get new one.

if it work well with other computer then

2.open volume panel.
double click on the volume icon on the taskbar
there will be headphone icon, if not select option, check all the box, maximize all volume, remember the upper volume control(horzontal) must be in the middle.

or.

if you using realtek, open by double click the icon, and select headphone.

just sharing =)

Headphones don't work right.

It might be that the contacts for the headphone jack is very dirty. Try using a cotton swab with a wd-40 on it to clean the inside contacts on the jack.

Garmin Nuvi 200 Voice no longer working

Does your Nuvi 200 have a headphone jack? If so, try that with a pair of headphones. If you hear sound, then your internal speaker went bad. It's a known problem with the Nuvi.
