If you are getting the error code concerning the baud rate.. You need to go into my computer, click on control panel, go into network and connections and delete my connection. This will take care of the error message then you can continue to connect your device to wifi.

Hope this helps

Change baud rate on okifax 5050

The baud rate is automatically set by the machine when it connects to the remote machine. The machines start at the highest speed and drop down until both machines can send/receive without any errors then they send the pages. You can not manually set the speed.

What is the normal setting for the baud rate for the 7"Sylvania netbook?

YOu didnt post what model your netbook is, but i'll answer the best i can. Netbooks typically do not come with a modem, so you will most likely only be able to connect via WiFi or an Ethernet connection. If the netbook does by chance have a modem, it will be 56K.

When I try to connect to internet I get this message you have been diconnecter from the remote computer you dialed verify the baud rate setting and retry the connection. my baud rate on desktop is...

How are you trying to connect to the Internet? It sounds like you are using another computer as a gateway, so if the other computer is offline you will not be able to connect. If you have another way to connect (such as a satellite, DSL, or something else like them, you need to disable your current connection. Go to control panel, internet options, connections, and see how you connect. IF YOU DO CONNECT THROUGH ANOTHER COMPUTER DO NOT CHANGE YOUR CONNECTION. Otherwise, disable or delete that connection, and then go to the lan portion (towards the bottom of that menu) and click it. In the new menu, unclick automatically detect settings. If you are not sure what you are doing, write back and be more specific with your question.

Trying to get my sylvania 7 inch netbook to bring up the internet, but it keeps saying to verify the baud rate settings

I used a router and adjusted the same conf. for both the router and the net book. All you need to do is to match both. I also know that you need to activate the wi fi by pressing the fn f9 buttons at the sometime. Try to log on and if it says connected but you are not able to use the net go to internet options and type or If you still not able to connect shut down and log on again. It works. Hope this helps Mrs.Mo

3. When you reset the router in your console window you will see characters that you cannot read. You have to stop the session and set your baud rate to 115200. This will let you increase the speed that you use to transfer the file.
4. At the rommon prompt enter xmodem -c {filename}
5. When prompted, enter y to continue
6. From your hyperterminal prompt, click on transfter then send file
7. Select the IOS image then change the protocol to xmodem via the dropdown box then click send.
8. After the IOS has been downloaded, change the boot order by using the confreg 0x2102 command.
