SOURCE: 1000 watt rms americanbass class d mono amp good

not a bad amp by any stretch. they do carry a little more thd then some of your higher end amps but should do the job. you did not mention what type of other gear you are running with? your head unit needs seperate sub out rca, prefer 5 volt+ for cleaner stronger signal but any will work. you might want to purchase a good 1 farad cap run at least 4 ga if not bigger cable ( im running 00 gauge on 1500 watts to 4 momo 12's) make sure you have same size ground wire to an excellent ground source. not sure about your crossovers either, im running 2/3rd octave phoenix gold from the old days i swear by them. all that and a good box will help greatly. routing your wires the proper way and using higher end cables will help greatly also. happy beating, any more questions just ask and i do what i can to help. BOOM ON

SOURCE: I have 2 10" alpine

This can be done but the 2 amps will have to be identical and their gain set the same. Bridging on an amp works on this principal. A far safer method of getting more power out of your system is one amp per speaker, so in your case adding another sub along with the Insignia.

MY BEST GUESS FROM WHAT YOU HAVE SAID IS THAT THE BOX WAS TO SMALL. BUT YOU ARE OVERPOWERING THE SUB RUNNING IT AT 2 OHMS ON A 750 WATT AMP WITH A SUB THAT IS ONLY RATED FOR 600. NO MATTER HOW FAR YOU TURN YOUR SETTINGS DOWN, YOUR STILL PUSHING TO MUCH POWER FOR THE SUB TO HANDLE. IT IS ONLY RATED 600 WATTS FOR A REASON. ESPECIALLY IF YOU LISTEN TO MUSIC THAT HAS A REAL LOW END AND THEN A HARD HIT. REMEMBER A HARD HIT WILL SPIKE YOUR AMPS OUTPUT THEREFORE PUSHING MORE WATTAGE TO THE SUB.

I need to know how to hook up an alpine v12 amp 2 ohm i have two tens

Hi there,

This really depends if your 10" subs are 4 ohms each or 2 ohm - for this exercise, I'm presuming they are 4 ohm each.

You already know your amp can deliver 600W RMS (@ 2ohm), so you need to be careful you do not exceed the maximum RMS input power of your subs.

Normally you would wire subs in "parallel", which would reduce the circuit load to 2ohms - however, the 600W RMS power may be too high for your subs to handle.

In this case, it may be safer to wire your subs in "series" - this will increase the circuit load to 8ohms, which will effectively decrease the amps RMS power output.

Cheers,

What type of amp do I need for apair of rfdj1 12" dj 600w band speakers?

The 600 watt rating is FAKE like most of our advertising and will be either 600 watts PEAK or 600 watts PROGRAM. If it is Peak, use an amplifier with no more than 100 watts a side RMS... If it is program rating use an amp with no more than 150 watts a side RMS but that is pushing it for speaker safety. Also pay attention to the spec of the amp as to what it will output at the impedance of the speakers. I read the spec on the speakers... they are rated 150 watts RMS, NOT 600 watts... Use an amp rated at 150 watts RMS MAXIMUM at 4 ohms per side. Also don't turn up the bass excessively or you be buying new speakers. Twelve inch speakers would be adequate for a 20 by 20 room at SAFE listening levels. If you want driving bass, you need to get an 18 inch subwoofer.

Which amplifier i should use with JBL CS-1205T

this sub woofer tube has a rms rating of 275 watts... try using a kicker or orion 600 watt mono amp to run this. the brand name is what tell you about how good an amp is for instance the names i just mentioned rate their amp by standard play frenquencies where as other lower brand names rate their amps by the max out put on certain subs at certain frequencies which may lower their impedance and create more power although you will never play your sub at those frequencies. as for the max power of your sub of 1100 watts that is more than like only at a certain frequency so always only double your rms rating of your sub to find max power handling.

Hi mate very nice amp you got there here is the specs for it

Model: MA Audio HK401SX
Hard Kore Series 1800 Watt 1 Channel High Performance Class X Car Amplifier
1 x 1800W RMS @ 0.5 Ohm Mono
1 x 1200W RMS @ 1 Ohm Mono
1 x 650W RMS @ 2 Ohm Mono
1 x 500W RMS @ 4 Ohm Mono
Fully Unregulated MOSFET Power Supply
2 Ohm Stable @ Mono
1 Ohm Stable @ Mono
0.5 Ohm Stable @ Mono

if you have 2 12s just bridge them and you will have 650wrms at 2ohm running to them or one sub at 4 ohm 500w rms ps they should pump iam running 2 12s with just 360rms at 2ohm and they do the job good luck

Installing two amps

No, thats what you don't what to do. Even if you have 2 matching amps you don't do that. Every amp puts out different, and for 2 subs, you want to play at the the same time. If your only running 2 10's, I personal would just run the alpine (it's a mono amp made especially for subs) thats plenty for what you have. make sure you bridge them to get the full response. And your other amp i would use for your highs or mids, but run it @ stereo , which is 300 w @ 4 ohms. (Note: 600w @ 2ohms would be bridged and would play in Mono)

Building Competition stereo's is a big hobby of mine.

Knocking noise with my kicker compvr 15"

comp VR 15s are rated @ 500W RMS 1000Peak.
The lanzar vibe amplifier is 2 x 600W RMS at 4 OHMS 2 x 1200W MAX at 4 OHMS 1 x 2400W MAX at 4 OHMS Bridged 2 x 1000W at 2 OHMS RMS.
Your subs are single 4 ohm subs.
If your subs are wired stereo, they both are seeing 600W. (more than the rated RMS)
Chances are, you have them wired parallel to a 2 ohm mono load - of which that amplifier is not rated. In theory, it will produce about 2000W @ 2 ohm mono for a short period of time.
Your amplifier is too powerful for your subs. Turn down the gain setting to 3/4 or purchase better subs. Also be sur the subs are inthe proper enclosure. It sounds as if they are excurting past their linear x-max and colliding with the rear bump plate. This will cause damage down the road if left as is.

Ohm load???

You can't wire a pair of single voice coil 2ohm subs to achieve a 2 ohm mono load. Too bad you don't have 2 four ohm SVC's. Sorry
