The first thing I would check is shut off the cold water valve at the wall and remove the hose at the washer.carefully pry out the little screen in the inlet and clean well, reconnect hose and turn water back on FH is a water inlet issue I am hoping that what is happening is that when the washer starts its wash cycle it is probably filling with warm (hot) and cold water at the same time even though it might be mostly hot,but when it comes time to rinse (cold water ) there is not enough to make the computer happy and you get your FH error.. Hope this Helps,,If not your probley looking at a new fill valve assy

Hi Expert, I have the 9200 Whilpool Duet washer that is now stuck in the rinse cycle and is 1/2 full of water. I tried to drain it by lowering the hose into a pail but no luck. I get the FH code. I have...

Hi

Error code FH appears when No water is detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip is not detected. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. If there is no water entering the unit then make sure that the inlet valves are working fine. You may need to check the continuity at the inlet valves. If the valves are fine then check whether inlet water hoses as they might be plugged. Also check for inlet water screen at the valve. However, if the water is entering into the washer then the Drain pump might not be working. Also inspect the Pressure Switch hose whether it is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch. Also check hoses for leak and inspect the flow meter. Hope this helps...

My Whirlpool Duet HT will start puttin water into the machine but after a couple minutes shuts off and flashes with the F/H error code. Some cycles it will fill up fine with the wash cycle but the same...

This problem is usually caused by what we professional appliantologists call, "panties in the drain pump." 'Course, that's just generic talk for something in the drain line.

- Clean out the drain pump catchment.

- Pull the suction boot off the drain pump, clean out any debris.

- Blow through the drain hose starting from the connection at the pump.

- If all else checks out, replace the pump.

During a normal wash cycle, the error code FH occurs. The owners manual says inlet problem. All water pressure is good and inlet screens are clear. Drain function appears to work well. Repair guy came...

If the flow meter does not register 10 and 1/2 gallons of water in 8 minutes the FH code appears.
Could be a bad flow meter, sensor, wiring harness is loose or a bad CCU Central Control Unit.
At the RINSE cycle if water enters the machine you must time the water fill for 8 minutes or less.
If water does not enter the machine suspect the CCU as bad.

After 27 minutes into wash get an FH error

The FH code on the Whirlpool Duet washers indicates that the unit is not detecting water fill at the flowmeter. The flowmeter is sits right in front of the water inlet valve and is attached via a hose and is off to the left of the central control unit (ccu). If the washer seems to be filling alright, check out the wiring from the flowmeter to the control unit. Make sure all connections are clean and tight. These connections have been known to jiggle loose and cause this code. Hope this helped and best wishes.

FH is a water inlet related issue, make sure your cold water supply is working correctly, sounds as if its trying to rinse(cold water) and has no water to do it
